The Center for Digital Innovation (CDI), Walailak University, has successfully achieved a perfect score of 5.00 points in the 2026 Fiscal Year 5S Assessment. This accomplishment reflects the Center’s strong commitment to maintaining a high-quality working environment that is organized, safe, efficient, and conducive to effective operations, while continuously enhancing organizational management standards in alignment with the University’s quality development framework.

The assessment was conducted by the Walailak University 5S Assessment Committee as part of the University’s ongoing 5S Green initiative. The program aims to foster a culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization. Based on the principles of the 5S methodology—Seiri (Sort), Seiton (Set in Order), Seiso (Shine), Seiketsu (Standardize), and Shitsuke (Sustain)—the assessment covered various aspects, including workplace organization, office document and equipment management, maintenance of operational areas, management of computer and information technology assets, as well as workplace safety and environmental readiness.

During the on-site evaluation, the committee inspected staff workspaces, office areas, computer laboratories, information technology service facilities, and the management of digital equipment and resources within the Center. The assessment found that CDI has systematically implemented the 5S principles through clearly designated responsibilities, well-organized storage systems, clean and safe shared spaces, and active participation from personnel at all levels in maintaining and continuously improving workplace standards.

Receiving a perfect score of 5.00 points is a significant achievement and a source of pride for all CDI personnel. It reflects their collective dedication to creating a model workplace that demonstrates effective space and resource management while supporting the University’s strategic goal of organizational excellence. The achievement also reinforces Walailak University’s commitment to sustainable development under the Green University initiative.

The Center for Digital Innovation remains committed to maintaining the highest 5S standards and continuously improving the quality of its information technology services. Through these efforts, CDI will continue to support Walailak University’s mission of advancing as a world-class institution of learning, innovation, and sustainable development.
