Digital Innovation Center Organizes “The Playwright Way: A New Approach to Automated Web Testing” Workshop to Enhance Software Development Capabilities

On 12 June 2026, the Digital Innovation Center, Walailak University, organized a workshop entitled “The Playwright Way: A New Approach to Automated Web Testing” at Meeting Room 2, Computer Building. The session was led by Ms. Yapaka Sampanthamat, Computer Systems Analyst at the Digital Innovation Center, who shared her expertise and practical experience in Automated Web Testing with 14 staff members from the Application Solutions Division.
The workshop introduced Playwright, a modern automation framework for web application testing, covering its core concepts, architecture, test script development, and practical implementation. Participants gained hands-on knowledge of how automated testing can improve software quality assurance by increasing testing speed, accuracy, and reliability while minimizing human errors commonly associated with manual testing.
This workshop forms part of the Digital Innovation Center’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the digital competencies of its personnel. By equipping staff with modern development tools and industry best practices, the Center aims to enhance the efficiency of the University’s information systems development, improve the quality of digital services, and support the University’s digital transformation in response to rapidly evolving technologies and user expectations.
