Digital Innovation Center Prepares FY2027 Action Plan to Drive Digital Operations Toward University Goals

The Digital Innovation Center, Walailak University, held an action plan workshop for Fiscal Year 2027 on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Meeting Room 2, Digital Innovation Building. The objective was to review operational directions, establish guidelines and frameworks, and formulate an action plan for the Digital Innovation Center aligned with the university’s strategic plan and operational goals for Fiscal Year 2027.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Nichanant Kittipatnabaworn, Assistant to the President for Data and Digital Innovation, who oversees the Digital Innovation Center, delivered the opening remarks and presented a lecture on the direction of the Digital Development Plan (2025–2028) and its transition into the University Strategic Plan (2028–2032) to foster a shared understanding of digital development directions and future goals. Following this, Dr. Premrudee Noonsang, Director of the Digital Innovation Center, presented the Digital Innovation Center Roadmap (2026–2029) along with guidelines and frameworks for drafting the FY2027 action plan prior to entering the workshop sessions.
The workshop emphasized participation among executives and staff to exchange ideas, analyze strategic issues, and jointly define clear operational directions for digital implementation that can be tangibly executed while adapting to technological changes and the university’s future operational contexts. A total of 47 participants attended the event.
Participants were divided into five groups to brainstorm, analyze key strategic issues, and determine appropriate operational approaches tailored to the missions and targets of each department. This provided an opportunity for active participation in proposing concepts and designing the center’s operational direction to construct the FY2027 action plan. Each group designed activities and key performance indicators (KPIs) at both the center and departmental levels, followed by presentations of their proposed approaches and plans. The session encouraged open discussion, Q&A, and constructive feedback to ensure clarity and strong alignment with organizational objectives before concluding with an overall summary and preparations for drafting Job Agreements.
The outcomes of this meeting will serve as a crucial foundation for directing the operational focus of the Digital Innovation Center in Fiscal Year 2027, ultimately supporting and driving Walailak University’s technology and digital innovation missions toward achieving concrete benefits.
