Digital Innovation Center Opens Sub-Storage Facility for Annual Inventory Inspection for Fiscal Year 2026, Promoting Systematic Materials Management

On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., the Digital Innovation Center (DIC), in collaboration with the Internal Audit Unit, conducted an annual inventory inspection of materials remaining in the sub-storage facility. The inspection aimed to ensure that material records and inventory control registers were accurate and up to date. This activity forms part of Walailak University’s annual inventory inspection process and supports the Digital Innovation Center in managing materials systematically, appropriately, and cost-effectively.

The inspection was carried out by a four-member committee from the Digital Innovation Center: Mr. Nontachai Chaisan, Mr. Sorapong Tinnakorn, Ms. Nirada Phetkongthong, and Mrs. Tharee Phromprasit. The committee prepared the material control records and storage areas and coordinated with relevant personnel to facilitate the inspection process. Mrs. Preeda Chotichuang from the Internal Audit Unit also participated as an observer to assess the internal control system for materials management and provide recommendations for improving operational processes and efficiency. The inspection will also support the use of accurate inventory information for future procurement and materials issuance planning.

The Digital Innovation Center will use the inspection results to improve materials management and the unit’s internal control system, with an emphasis on accuracy, transparency, accountability, and the efficient use of university resources.
