Walailak University Digital Innovation Center Supports the 2026 University Council Retreat with Digital Technology Systems

During 10–11 October 2026, Mr. Paisan Phumduang, an officer from the Digital Infrastructure Group of the Digital Innovation Center (DIC), Walailak University, provided on-site technical support at Khanom Sunrise Resort and Hotel, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, for the University Council Retreat. The retreat brought together University Council members and university executives to exchange policy perspectives and discuss the draft Walailak University Strategic Development Plan for 2028–2032. The Digital Innovation Center prepared the information technology systems and digital infrastructure to ensure that the meeting proceeded smoothly, continuously, and efficiently.

As part of the operation, the officer installed and inspected the Internet network and related equipment, as well as tested audio and video signals to support both on-site and online participation. The team also managed the online meeting through Zoom Cloud Meetings and coordinated the transmission of audio and video signals for a special lecture delivered by an invited speaker, the Deputy Director of the Office of the National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO). These efforts supported knowledge sharing and the exchange of views on key policy issues.

The support provided for this important meeting reflects the role of the Digital Innovation Center in applying digital technology and information infrastructure to support the university’s key missions. The Center places emphasis on system readiness, continuity, and efficiency to facilitate organizational management and communication at the institutional level, while continuously and sustainably advancing Walailak University toward becoming a digital university.
