Walailak University Joins Royal Tribute Television Recording in Celebration of His Majesty the King’s Birthday Anniversary 2026

On 18 June 2026, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, together with members of the university executive team, participated in a special television recording to convey royal blessings and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, to be celebrated on 28 July 2026. The recording was held at the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) Nakhon Si Thammarat Station as an expression of loyalty, reverence, and gratitude for His Majesty’s boundless benevolence and dedication to the Thai people.

The royal tribute recording forms part of nationwide activities organized by government agencies, educational institutions, and various organizations to honor and celebrate this significant occasion. Such activities reflect the unity and devotion of the Thai people and their deep appreciation for His Majesty’s unwavering commitment to the well-being and prosperity of the nation.

On this occasion, the Digital Innovation Center, Walailak University, assigned Mr. Pongthon Ruedeeakraseri, Acting Head of the Application Solution Division, to represent the Center in the television recording. His participation symbolized the Center’s loyalty and heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty, while reaffirming its commitment to supporting the University’s mission and contributing to sustainable national development in accordance with the Royal Initiatives.
