Digital Innovation Center Conducts Focus Group Training on “Website Guidance and Troubleshooting for Evaluation Readiness”

The Digital Innovation Center (DIC), Walailak University, organized a Focus Group workshop on “Website Guidance and Troubleshooting for Evaluation Readiness” on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Digital Innovation Center. The session was led by Mr. Wachirasak Phokakorn, Computer System Analyst, Application Solutions Division, who played an important role in sharing knowledge on website development and management. The training was attended by 45 academic and operational staff members from various units across the University. All participants demonstrated strong interest in developing and improving their respective unit websites to enhance their effectiveness and ensure compliance with institutional standards.
The training covered various essential aspects of website management to help participants prepare for evaluation. Topics included fundamental website components in accordance with the University’s guidelines and key points that should be reviewed; the creation of metadata for both Thai- and English-language websites; and the verification of continuity and information links between different pages and sections of websites. Participants also learned how to identify and fix dead links or links that could no longer be accessed. In addition, the Digital Innovation Center incorporated a practical workshop in which participants reviewed their own unit websites and received direct advice and consultation from the experienced trainer. This hands-on approach provided participants with practical experience and enabled them to immediately apply the knowledge gained to resolve issues and improve the accuracy and completeness of their unit websites.
The training reflects the Digital Innovation Center’s commitment to developing personnel and supporting staff at all levels in strengthening their expertise in digital content management and administration. The initiative aims to help Walailak University achieve excellence in digital communication standards and gain recognition through evaluations based on established criteria. In addition, the Digital Innovation Center remains available to provide consultation and support to various units regarding website development, improvement, and assessment. This ongoing support is intended to ensure that digital technology serves as an effective tool for supporting the University’s administration and operations.
