Digital Innovation Center Enhances Staff Capabilities Through Practical Training on

“Data Management and Analysis with Microsoft Excel” to Strengthen Digital-Era Workplace Skills

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Digital Innovation Center organized an onsite practical training program on “Data Management and Analysis with Microsoft Excel.” The training attracted 49 operational staff members. The activity was designed to strengthen digital skills, enhance knowledge of systematic data management, and improve work processes to make them faster, more accurate, and less prone to errors in practical applications. The training was led by Mr. Chatthaphon Chaisorn, Computer Systems Analyst from the Human Resources and Organization Division, who served as the main instructor, with Ms. Kannika Wonglert and Ms. Phatthanit Yothinwattanabamrung serving as assistant instructors and providing close guidance and support throughout the training.

The training emphasized Active Learning through hands-on practice, enabling participants to immediately apply the skills they acquired to their work. The content covered four key areas: Data Preparation, including addressing missing and duplicate data; Data Cleaning, using tools such as Find & Replace, Text to Columns, Flash Fill, and Data Validation; Data Analysis, with an in-depth focus on VLOOKUP and PivotTable; and Data Visualization, including the development of Interactive Dashboards and the application of AI technology to support modern data management practices.

Through this training, participants gained not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience in solving real-world data management challenges—from establishing basic data structures and verifying data accuracy to conducting in-depth analysis and presenting information in an easy-to-understand format. These skills are essential for leveraging data to support daily operations, problem-solving, and effective organizational decision-making. The Digital Innovation Center remains committed to continuously promoting and developing digital technology skills among personnel and supporting organizational development, with the goal of driving the institution toward becoming a future-ready digital organization.
