Walailak University’s Digital Innovation Center Conducts “Higher Education Management Transformation Through Artificial Intelligence” Training Course to Enhance AI Skills for Administrators<\/strong><\/h3>

The Digital Innovation Center at Walailak University organized the training course titled “Higher Education Management Transformation Through Artificial Intelligence: Enhancing AI Skills for Administrators” on July 20-21, 2026, at the Pattara Tamma Aphon Conference Room, Building C, 9th Floor, Walailak University Medical Center Hospital. The training was honored to have Dr. Sukhyeun Theptong<\/strong>, an AI Transformation expert, as a special lecturer who shared knowledge about AI technology trends, data analysis, information management, and the application of AI in supporting decision-making. The training also presented case studies from organizations that have successfully implemented AI, allowing participants to gain both conceptual knowledge and practical approaches that can be directly applied.<\/p>

During this training session, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong<\/strong>, the University President, presided over the opening ceremony and presented the university’s policy on developing the capacity of administrators to be prepared for changes in the digital age. This represents another significant step in enhancing the capabilities of administrators and supporting the university’s organizational development toward the digital era.<\/p>

The training attracted 65 high-level and mid-level administrators from various departments within the university, aiming to build knowledge, understanding, and skills in applying artificial intelligence technology to improve management efficiency, strategic planning, and decision-making based on data\u2014essential skills for driving educational organizations to keep pace with technological changes. During the opening ceremony, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nichanan Kittipattanabor<\/strong>, Vice President for Information and Digital Innovation, delivered remarks on the importance of developing AI skills for administrators, emphasizing the role of the Digital Innovation Center in supporting staff to utilize technology in their administrative work effectively. The training was organized by Dr. Premrudee Nunsangkh, Director of the Digital Innovation Center, along with the center’s team.<\/p>
