Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by university executives, representatives from government and private sectors, students, and the public.<\/p>\n
The ceremony was held to express deep gratitude and reverence for Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn’s benevolence and dedication to the well-being of the people and the nation.<\/p>\n
During the event, the participants watched a documentary highlighting the royal duties of Her Royal Highness. Following that, representatives from each organization paid their respects by presenting flower-decorated trays with pedestals in front of her portrait.<\/p>\n
Faculty members, students, and the public also came together for blood donations and voluntary activities to clean the university area, as well as offering alms to Buddhist monks.<\/p>\n
